EST = headache

WAHLAO WEIH!!!!!!!!!

susah...

ppl.. pls pls pls help me out with my EST homework..

im confused with these three words..

'epidemic' , 'pandemic' , 'endemic'

Definitions :

Epidemic :
  1. An outbreak of a contagious disease that spreads rapidly and widely.
  2. A rapid spread, growth, or development: an unemployment epidemic.
Pandemic :
1. an epidemic that is geographically widespread; occurring throughout a region or even throughout the world

Endemic :
a disease that is constantly present to a greater or lesser degree in people of a certain class or in people living in a particular location


Exercise :
1. In the 1860s, a major _(epidemic?)_ of plague spread from China across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.

2. Poverty and the lack of good medical facilities are major causes of the AIDS _(pandemic?)_ occurring in Africa.
